Ben Lui and Beinn a’Chlèibh

A dry week and the sun shining in the sky gave me the perfect opportunity to climb Ben Lui. Ben Lui is deemed one of the finest Munros in Scotland. I had to take the opportunity. Join me as we climb Ben Lui and Beinn a’Chlèibh in perfect conditions.

Ben Lawers & Beinn Ghlas

We were in Pitlochry for the weekend to do some white water rafting and canyoning. We decided to choose a munro on the drive up and found ourselves bagging two munros in the Ben Lawers range. Join me as we climb Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers in the beautiful Scottish sunshine.

First Munro of 2022

It’s the first Munro of 2022 and what a fantastic feeling to be back on the hills. This time I decided to stay a little closer to home and keep myself in Argyll. Beinn Bhuidhe was the obvious choice and it did not disappoint. The weather on the other hand did and clouded over the top of the Munro. No views for me today but I had a really challenging climb. Easily the hardest I’ve done so far in those wet and windy conditions.

Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse

I’ve recently had the pleasure of going back to my hometown for Christmas and soon to celebrate New Year in Campbeltown, Scotland.

During my visit I managed to visit the famous Mull of Kintyre lighthouse. Some of you may recognise this name from the Paul McCartney and Wings single that became the UK’s number one.

I’ve uploaded a short video that shows how remote the area truely is. The scenery there is absolutely stunning and I do not feel I have done it justice.

Day outing to Dorset

Deciding to make the most of the bank holiday, I decided to take a short trip to Durdle Door in Dorset with my friend Grace. What a day it was. Immediately on arrival I felt I was almost transported to the Italian Amalfi Coast. The sun was beating down but the beautiful cooling breeze was just right to keep me functioning. It is tough being Scottish.

Without a doubt this has been the highlight of my drone flights so far. The scenery is just stunning. I would certainly recommend anyone to visit the area.

Trip to Scotland’s West Coast

I travelled back to my hometown of Campbeltown, part of the Kintyre Peninsula on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland. Campbeltown is a photographers dream as it boasts some truely stunning scenery. I managed to capture the Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry as it sailed through the famous Campbeltown Loch.

After my trip to Campbeltown, I stopped off at the “Rest and Be Thankful” deep in the Scottish Highlands. The view is breathtaking and the pictures really don’t do it justice.

All in all, I had a fantastic trip and it was great so see family and friends.
